From the workshop
SnackNotes came out of the projects I build with my kids. Many of these are real world maker projects. Check out what we've been making.
Kid-Invented
Blotlings
A bouncy new toy designed and made out of silicone by my kids.
Beta Project
Mega-Sketch
The guts of an etch-a-sketch turned into a rope and pulley whiteboard drawing contraption. Kids built these in my maker class!

Sock Puppet Crazy
Give a kid a puppet. They play for a day. Teach them to make a puppet and they'll fill up your home with puppets.
Kit
Zoetrope kit
There's something fascinating seeing an animation come alive from this invention from the 1800's. This was our family's first maker faire project!
Web toy
PumpkinDoodler
Pick a pumpkin, draw a face, and watch the candle flicker through. Carve one on your phone, then print a stencil for the real thing.
